Yakipoo is a washers game played with a set of two boards and two sets of three metal washers. This game is typically played as a yard game, set up somewhere outdoors (in a garage or out in the driveway, on a patio, in a yard). Two teams play against each other consisting of either one person per team (“singles” or one vs one) or two people per team(“doubles” or two vs two).
Yakipoo (aka washers or washer toss) is a game of skill played with three washers per player. The game field consists of two washer boards, each containing three washer pits. Players throw their washers into these washer pits to score points. Making a washer inside a pit, in any order, scores two (closest pit), four (middle pit), and six points (farthest pit). Landing a washer on top of the board scores one point. Players can cancel opponents' washers. One player making each washer in each pit within a single round is a “Yakipoo” and scores an automatic win. First player to exactly 31 points wins. Surpassing 31 points results in going back the amount of points that made the player go over.
